Overdue Update

Steve and Rose came by the office yesterday and gave me a nice kick in the butt and told me to update the blog. So here I go. First floor is done and we have moved all of our computers, printers, and files to the first floor. It is awesome to say the least. Parking lot is in and you enter from Parkview. Thomas Excavating out of Adams and Phil's Paving from Henderson did an outstanding job. The porcelain tile was installed by Todd Schultz out of Adams and it really sets the whole office character. That tile is from Italy too by the way.There is still a second coat of paint that needs to go in my office and the hardwood floors and the second floor will be complete too.

Some big news is that we have two highly motivate salespersons who have joined the team and two more that are going to be on board shortly. Michelle Johnson comes to us from Copenhagen and her husband is currently serving with the 1st BCT, 10th Mountain Division is Afghanistan. Our prayers go out to him for his safe return next spring. Michelle has one listing in Sackets Harbor and just sold her first home last week. Go Michelle!!!

We also have Song French whose husband retired after over 20 years of service and he just returned from Afghanistan working as a civilian contractor. Song French has two listings, one in Glen Park and one in Black River and she sold her first home last month. It should be closing here in a couple weeks and I know she is excited about that.

Sonia, my wife, continues to run the day to day functions in the office that seem to never end. Between keeping the MLX up to date, our website up to date, and doing the accounting she really never gets a break.

Sonia and I are always working and it is not unusual if you are driving by at nine, ten, or even eleven o'clock at night and see the lights on and the open flag flying. We are trying to catch up and get ahead. If the lights are on and the flag is flying, WE ARE OPEN! Feel free to stop in for whatever you might need.
